For well over a year now, like a lot of people I have been listening to Florence and the Machine on loop, queuing in snow and frost to get tickets to gigs (always failing) and basically just idolising Ms. Florence Welch. Though it is not my favourite song from the album Lungs,
Cosmic Love is undoubtedly a brilliant piece of music, that just evokes such strong emotions from everyone, and sends shivers down your spine the first time you hear it (for the record, My Boy Builds Coffins is my favourite song, it reminds me of my Dad) and she has just released the video for it which is incredibly beautiful, all lights and red hair, relying on the power of the song more than any crazy visual affect that might only distract from it.
Ms. Welch is also a style icon, which at 22 and having really only been on the scene for a year, at most, is pretty impressive, she is the reason I own, and love, sequined knickers, as well as why I kinda want to dye my hair red, basically dude, she's just whopper, go buy the album, or check her on YouTube, it'll be the best thing you do today.
